Orthodox Christmas

Orthodox Christmas is an Orthodox Christian holiday that celebrates the birth of Christ based on the Julian calendar. The celebration is marked by a special night-time liturgy. It is celebrated in nearly 60 countries, as well as in Jesus's birthplace of Bethlehem.^[1] Orthodox Christmas tends to occur about two weeks after the date used in Western Christianity (December 25). The holy day in Orthodox Christianity will fall on January 7 until 2100 AD.
