Kharad is a small village of 516 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kharad depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kharad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kharad's pin code is 303001[4], and village code is 01594100. The area of Kharad is segregated as 100 hectares irrigated area, 138 hectares unirrigated, the 9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 121 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Kharad has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kharad is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1480 and has total administration over 274 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 108 (7.30%) males constitute 49 (3.31%) of the population and females 59 (3.99%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 739 (49.93%) males constitute 396 (26.76%) of the population and females 343 (23.18%).

The workforce is 367 male, 339 female with 386 (54.67%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 282 males and 104 females. 132 males and 87 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 female agricultural labor. 320 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
