Jean Astruc
From Conservapedia Jean Astruc (1681-1766) was a French physician and professor of medicine in Paris, noted in claiming to have discovered that the book of Genesis consists of two different sources one in which the word Lord or "Jehovah" is used, and another source in which "Elohim" meaning God is used, and who by this supposed discovery founded the modern school of thought called Higher Criticism.[1]
