Oracle Bones

From Conservapedia

Oracle bones were ox bones or turtle shells inscribed with questions and answers. They were a major part of pre-Chan Buddhist religion in China, although they are not commonly used now. Early oracle bones provided the first archaeological evidence of the Shang dynasty.

Sample oracle bones were later brought to Europe by Marco Polo.
