Weekend

The weekend is the period of leisure time between the days of the working week. It is normally seen as including the days Saturday and Sunday. People use weekends as a time for rest and relaxation, but also to pursue their own hobbies and projects. Saturdays are Jewish holidays, whereas Sundays are Christian holidays, during which Christians traditionally attend church, and their children often attend Sunday School.
