Sarayan is a small village of 0 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarayan depends on Fatehpur (NP) , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarayan's pin code is 225305[4], and village code is 05712900. The area of Sarayan is segregated as 95 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sarayan has One post office (Kutloopur B.O) and Two public telephones. Sarayan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sarayan is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 902 and has total administration over 161 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 257 (28.49%) males constitute 137 (15.19%) of the population and females 120 (13.30%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Fatehpur (NP) and Barabanki to sell clothes and make their living.
