Greatest Conservative Cars have attributes of conservative values: productive, welcomes masculinity, efficient, frugal, and not pandering to environmentalists.
Please add to the growing list:
- Corvette
- Mustang (excluding 1980's models which were essentially indistinguishable from other sedans; the newer models more resemble the classic older Mustangs)
- Beetle (the original with the rear-engine)
- Model T (designed for the owner who, at that time, would have had general knowledge of mechanics)
- Any of the Ford F-series of trucks (the F-150 being the most commonly owned by individuals; the entire line has a common chassis with the higher numbers being reserved for customized commercial vehicles)
- Mazda RX-7 (used a lightweight rotary engine having enormous horsepower, sold 800,000 cars until regulated out of existence by Europe)
