Tea Party Organizations

There are thousands of grassroots Tea Party organizations across the United States.^[1] In the state of Florida, for example, there are more than 100 groups affiliated with the Tea Party Movement.^[2] The National Tea Party Unity Convention was to be held in Las Vegas, October 2010, to unify tea party groups across the nation. However, it was ultimately cancelled with "deep sorrow" by organizer Barbee Kinnison.^[3] The event would have been co-sponsored by the Tea Party Nation, Free America, Leadership Tea Party, and The Leadership Institute. The Tea Party Patriots is one of the more widely known Tea Party organizations, which also provides resources and links to other grassroots Tea Party groups on its website.^[4]
