Utara is a small village of 589 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Utara depends on Chharra Rafatpu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Utara's pin code is 202129[4], and village code is 01342400. The area of Utara is segregated as 330 hectares irrigated area, 24 hectares unirrigated area. the 193 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Utara has One post office (Utra B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Utara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Utara is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3039 and has total administration over 540 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Utara has 493 children, 251 boys and 242 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 732 (24.09%) males constitute 389 (12.80%) of the population and females 343 (11.29%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chharra Rafatpu and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
