Medua is a small village of 178.7 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Medua depends on Jhusi (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Medua's pin code is 221507^[4], and village code is 05458100. The area of Medua is segregated as 100 hectares irrigated area.

Medua is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2276 and has total administration over 334 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhusi (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
