Backwoods Home Magazine

From Conservapedia

Backwoods Home Magazine is a monthly conservative libertarian magazine founded by Dave Duffy and published in Oregon in the American Redoubt. The theme of the magazine is "practical ideas for self-reliant living." The magazine publishes articles of interest to homesteaders, people living in rural areas, small farmers, gardeners and permaculture gardeners, survivalists and preppers and people going "back to the land". In that regard it is similar to the old Mother Earth News magazine, but with a significant difference: Backwoods Home Magazine has a conservative editorial viewpoint unlike the new liberal tone of Mother Earth News. The magazine and their website strongly supports and writes articles monthly on the topic of gun rights, unalienable rights, the rights of homeschoolers, self-healthcare with herbs, and opposes excessive taxes and Welfare state - Nanny state - Police state big government regulations.
