Chikarda is a small village of 1401 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chikarda depends on Nimbahera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 96.10% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chikarda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chikarda's pin code is 312027[4], and village code is 03641500. The area of Chikarda is segregated as 346.87 hectares irrigated area, 691.27 hectares unirrigated, the 153.64 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 208.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Chikarda has One post office (Chikarada B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Chikarda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Chikarda is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3996 and has total administration over 868 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Chikarda has 502 children, 264 boys and 238 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 1022 (25.58%) males constitute 527 (13.19%) of the population and females 495 (12.39%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 100 (2.50%) males constitute 52 (1.30%) of the population and females 48 (1.20%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1865 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1153 male, 712 female with 1485 (79.62%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1046 males and 439 females. 395 males and 150 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 231 male and 169 female agricultural labor. 380 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nimbahera and Chittorgarh to sell furniture and make their living.
