Abu Sayyaf

Abu Sayyaf (translated: Sword fighter) or also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya (The Islamic Movement) is an Islamist Terror organization, that operates in the Southern part of the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf want to establish a state of God and is connacted with the Al-Qaeda. In 1995 it supported the failed "Operation Bojinka," in which they wanted to kill Johannes Paul II. and other Catholics. Abu Sayyaf acts with bomb attacks and have already behead Christians.[1]
