The North Dakota Supreme Court is the highest appellate court for North Dakota.

Five justices sit on the North Dakota Supreme Court. They are elected in a non-partisan election, to serve for ten-year terms.

The Chief Justice is a five-year position filled by election by the justices of the Supreme Court and the judges of the district courts.
