Tikta is a small village of 339 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tikta depends on Chharra Rafatpu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tikta's pin code is 202129[4], and village code is 01342100. The area of Tikta is segregated as 289.904 hectares irrigated area, 33 hectares unirrigated area. remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tikta is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2236 and has total administration over 361 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1053 (47.09%) males constitute 570 (25.49%) of the population and females 483 (21.60%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chharra Rafatpu and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
