Hudson River

The Hudson River is a large river flowing from upstate New York in the Adirondack Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean in New York Bay. It was named after the English explorer Henry Hudson and is approximately 315 miles in length. Important cities along the Hudson include Albany, Jersey City, and New York. Hudson discovered the river when he was searching for a quick passage to China.
