Holy Land

The Holy Land is an area of land composing of Israel and Palestine (West Bank, Gaza Strip). It is holy to three world religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It has had one of the most violent, bloodstained, and tragic histories of any area of the world. Jews believe that true peace will not come to Israel until the coming of Moshiach. However, the native population of Muslims argue that peace will only come with an independent Palestine.
