Ishtar was a vengeful fertility goddess.[1]

Marduk was the leader of the gods.[2] He was said to be a fertility god, but originally a god of thunderstorms.[2] His consort was Sarpanitu.[2]

Tammuz was an agricultural deity. He was also said to have been the husband of Ishtar[3]
