Book Of Ezra

Ezra forms a unit with the book Nehemiah. Parts of the book are written in Hebrew and the rest in Aramaic. The biblical book describes how the Jews returned to Babylon and created a temple there. The construction of the temple was financed by Persian king Darius I.
