Nauhai is a small village of 449 hectares in Naraini Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nauhai depends on Naraini (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nauhai's pin code is 210129[4], and village code is 04840400. The area of Nauhai is segregated as 382 hectares irrigated area, 3 hectares unirrigated area. the 8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 47 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Nauhai has One post office (Nauhai B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Nauhai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Nauhai is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3778 and has total administration over 760 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 2076 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1075 male, 1001 female with 1462 (70.42%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 952 males and 510 females. 520 males and 119 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 329 male and 351 female agricultural labor. 614 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Naraini (NP) and Banda to sell jaggery and make their living.
