Methuri is a small village of 840 hectares in Salumbar Tehsil in UDAIPUR district in the state of RAJASTHAN, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Methuri depends on Salumbar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Methuri is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Methuri's pin code is 313703[4], and village code is 03224100. The area of Methuri is segregated as 43 hectares irrigated area, 336 hectares unirrigated, the 212 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 249 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Methuri has One post office (Methudi B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Methuri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Methuri is a census village in the district of UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN. The village has a total population of 1816 and has total administration over 371 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Methuri has 329 children, 159 boys and 170 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 90 (4.96%) males constitute 39 (2.15%) of the population and females 51 (2.81%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 661 (36.40%) males constitute 336 (18.50%) of the population and females 325 (17.90%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 928 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 501 male, 427 female with 231 (24.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 204 males and 27 females. 144 males and 4 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 697 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Salumbar and UDAIPUR to sell earthen pot and make their living.
