Friedrich Hoelderlin

Johann Christian Friedrich Hoelderlin (1770 - 1843) (alternatively spelled "Hölderlin" or "Holderlin") [1] is one of the most important German poets. He naturalized the classical Greek verse in German. Often, he used Christian and classical themes.
