Ghent University

Ghent University (often abbreviated as UGent) is a public research University founded in 1817 by King William I of the Netherlands based in the city of Ghent, Belgium. It's one of the major universities in the country. The University has 11 faculties that offer a wide range of courses in both exact and social sciences.[1]

The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) ranked Ghent at the 62nd place worldwide (2016).
