Montessori Schools

From Conservapedia

Montessori schools are elementary schools that emphasize a type of phonics for learning how to read, and individual freedom for each child to pursue his or her own interests. Many successful Americans, including Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, originally went to Montessori schools.

In the United States there are about 500 Montessori schools, and perhaps surprisingly about 500 of these programs are located within public schools,[1] There is apparently no trademark allowed on the term "Montessori school," so the programs can vary.[2]
