Lalyana is a small village of 492 hectares in Khekada Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalyana depends on Khekada (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lalyana's pin code is 250615^[4], and village code is 01067800. The area of Lalyana is segregated as 426 hectares irrigated area. the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 61 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lalyana is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4129 and has total administration over 666 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1602 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1081 male, 521 female with 1017 (63.48%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 828 males and 189 females. 266 males and 15 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 184 male and 109 female agricultural labor. 585 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Khekada (NP) and Bagpat to sell handspun cotton and make their living.
