A North Kansas Library District Levy Increase measure was on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the North Kansas library district area which is in Clay County.

This measure sought to increase the current library levy by a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for an ongoing amount of time in order to continue to pay for library services in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall there be a tax increase of 10 cents per $100 of assessed valuation for the public library? The current levy is 20 cents.[3]
