Idwa is a small village of 3671 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Idwa depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Idwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Idwa's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01856800. The area of Idwa is segregated as 3007 hectares unirrigated, the 525.71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 138 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
