A Freeman School District Levy Replacement measure was on the February 14, 2012 ballot in the Freeman school district area which is in Spokane County.

- YES 960 (54.39%)
- NO 805 (45.61%)[1]
This measure sought to replace the current school levy which is set to expire with one set at a rate of $2.93 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for general fund maintenance and operational costs in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| The Board of Directors of Freeman School District No. 358 adopted Resolution No. 5-2011/2012, concerning a proposition to support educational programs and operation expenses. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, upon all taxable property within the District, for support of the District’s General Fund educational programs and operation expenses: Collection years: 2013-2015; Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $2.93; Levy Amount: $1,470,00, $1,484,29 $1,499,13. All as provided in Resolution No. 2-2011/2012. Should this proposition be approved?[3] |
