Sacramento Kings

From Conservapedia

The Sacramento Kings are a professional basketball team based in Sacramento, California.

The team started as a semi-professional team in Rochester, New York (the Rochester Seagrams) in 1932, changing names several times before joining the National Basketball League (a predecessor to the NBA) in 1945 as the Rochester Royals. They won the league championship in 1945-46, the franchise's only title (of teams that have one at least one professional title in the four major sports, the Kings have the longest ongoing title drought).

The team would relocate several times: first to Cincinnati in 1957 as the Cincinnati Royals, then again in 1972 to the Midwest, naming themselves the Kansas City-Omaha Kings and splitting home games between the two cities (eventually ending the Omaha portion of the games in 1977 and renaming themselves simply as the Kansas City Kings), before finally relocating to Sacramento in 1985.
