Distinction Without A Difference

From Conservapedia

A distinction without a difference is the logical fallacy of raising a linguistic or conceptual difference that is irrelevant to the issue at hand. It is often used to avoid a negative emotional connotation associated with a word or concept.

Example[edit]

Liberals try to argue that some forms of individual liberty are good and others are bad because of identity politics or an imagined difference between personal and economic liberty.
