Kandi is a small village of 174.8 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kandi depends on Phulpur (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kandi's pin code is 221505[4], and village code is 05458400. The area of Kandi is segregated as 65 hectares irrigated area, 46.24 hectares unirrigated area. the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 12.84 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kandi has Three public telephones. Kandi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kandi is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2577 and has total administration over 457 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 597 male, 373 female with 453 (46.7%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 304 males and 149 females. 100 males and 15 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 20 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 517 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phulpur (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
