Statistical Thermodynamics

From Conservapedia

Statistical thermodynamics is a branch of physics that explains thermodynamics based on probability and microscopic behavior.

This approach builds on the insights of quantum mechanics and uncertainty.

While classical thermodynamics is based on macroscopic experimental observation, statistical thermodynamics is based on the predictive average movement of group of microscopic particles.
