Gamma rays are a form of dangerous radiation released in nuclear reactions. Gamma rays are invisible and harmful to people and all living things.

In the comic book 'The Incredible Hulk', Dr. Bruce Banner was accidentally exposed to gamma rays. He then changed into the Hulk when subjected to stress. The Hulk possessed superhuman strength.
