Cantonese People

The Cantonese people are a people of Tai origin indigenous to Guangdong. They have settled in the area since at least 500 BC. They are closely related to many other peoples in south-east Asia, especially, the Zhuang and Vietnamese peoples.

The language spoken by these people is Cantonese, which is totally different from any other Chinese language.
