Dhanpura is a small village of 297 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhanpura depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 60.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhanpura's pin code is 343049[4], and village code is 02305800. The area of Dhanpura is segregated as 60 hectares irrigated area, 51 hectares unirrigated, the 56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 118 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dhanpura is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1015 and has total administration over 175 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 310 male, 293 female with 348 (57.71%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 225 males and 123 females. 143 males and 116 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 5 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 255 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
