Standing Committee
From Conservapedia A Standing committee is a permanent congress committee which deals with legislation in a special area. They can also hold investigations or oversight of agencies within their jurisdiction. Examples are the House Agriculture Committee and the Senate Foreign Relation Committee.[1]
