Sonikpur is a small village of 0 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sonikpur depends on TRIVEDIGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sonikpur's pin code is 225126[4], and village code is 05854500. The area of Sonikpur is segregated as 325.231 hectares irrigated area, 191.44 hectares unirrigated area. the 318.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Sonikpur is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3315 and has total administration over 664 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TRIVEDIGANJ and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
