A Lyons Fire District Bond Measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Lyons fire district area which is in Linn County.

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $2.1 million in order to purchase new vehicle, construct a maintenance shop, make general repairs to facilities and expand where needed in the district.[2]

Text of measure[edit]

The question on the ballot:

Shall Lyons Fire District be authorized to contract general obligation bonded indebtedness in an amount not to exceed $2,100,00? If the bonds are approved, they will be payable from taxes on property or property ownership that are not subject to the limits of Section 11 and 11b, Article XI of the Oregon Constitution.[3]
