Ealing

From Conservapedia

Ealing is a suburb of west London, located in the London Borough of Ealing, and sometimes known as the 'Queen of Suburbs'. It developed as a residential district after the opening of the Great Western Railway in 1838, and is now served by several railway and London Underground stations.

In the mid twentieth century Ealing was well known for the presence there of the Ealing Film Studios, which made a number of light comedies (known as Ealing comedies) which were both popular and critically acclaimed.

Since World War II Ealing has had a significant population of Polish origin, and there is a prominent memorial to the Katyn Massacre in the borough cemetery.
