Arameans

Arameans in old Arabian dialects means the highlanders, the Arameans existed wherever the Arabians settled the highlands in the mountain regions in what is today Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Palestine, Israel, Yemen, and Oman.

The Arameans shared a mountain lifestyle and Aramaic dialects that were different than the other Bedouin Semitic dialects. In the 7th century BC the Aramaic dialect became the Lingua Franca of the near east and the language of Jesus and it continued to be the most dominant Arabian dialect until the surge of Islam, which replaced the Aramaic dialect with the Quranic Arabian and the Standard modern Arabic language.
