Atraura is a small village of 177 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Atraura depends on Phulpur (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. Atraura is also near byOne lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Atraura's pin code is 212402[4], and village code is 05444900. The area of Atraura is segregated as 146 hectares irrigated area. the 31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
The village is connected with a single bus service. Atraura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Atraura is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1805 and has total administration over 267 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 549 (30.42%) males constitute 269 (14.90%) of the population and females 280 (15.51%).

The workforce is 412 male, 426 female with 365 (43.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 341 males and 24 females. 192 males and 17 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 141 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 473 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phulpur (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
