David Ben Joseph Ha-Kohen

From Jewish Encyclopedia (1906)

David Ben Joseph Ha-Kohen:

Dayyan and preacher at Krotoschin, Prussia, in the eighteenth century. He was the author of "Pa'amone Zahab" (Bells of Gold), a homiletic commentary on the first forty chapters of the Psalms, published at Fürth 1769. Nepi ascribes to David a commentary on Moses Isserles' "Torat ha-'Olah," entitled "Minḥat Kohen." However, with the exception of Fürst, who gives the title of this commentary as "Nimmuḳim," no other bibliographer mentions it.
