Tema is a small village of 114.9 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tema depends on Gosainganj (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Tema's pin code is 224132[4], and village code is 06123300. The area of Tema is segregated as 82 hectares irrigated area, 12 hectares unirrigated area. the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Tema has One public telephone. Tema has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Tema is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 848 and has total administration over 161 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 191 (22.52%) males constitute 80 (9.43%) of the population and females 111 (13.09%).

According to a census 2011 report, 223 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 161 male, 62 female with 114 (51.12%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 104 males and 10 females. 70 males and 3 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 15 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 109 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gosainganj (NP) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
