6. I do not think that newspapers played a huge role in the 2008 presidential election as compared to the election in 1890. The internet and the television are the big thing now. Newspapers are not as popular.

True, but the television and the internet still seem to take their lead from newspapers. In other words, newspapers still drive the media, but won't for much longer.
