Ferrari is a sports car manufacturer from Italy. Founded in 1947 by Enzo Ferrari, the company initially manufactured race cars and have been heavily involved in Formula 1 as well as other championships.
Ferrari only builds 4,500 cars a year with production split between the V8-engined cars (F430 and F430 Spider) and the V12-engined cars, the 599 GTB Fiorano 2-seater berlinetta and the flagship 2+2 612 Scaglietti.[1]
Since 1950 Ferrari has participated in every season of the F1 World Championship. in 2004 Ferrari had won 14 Drivers' and 14 Constructors' titles. Ferrari also has a record of success in endurance racing events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where their 250 GTOs as well as many iterations of GT2 and GTE cars have set numerous records.
