Social Security Death Index

From Conservapedia

Social Security Death Index (SSDI) is a database of death event records with associated Social Security Numbers created from the United States Social Security Administration's Death Master File. Most persons who have died since the 1930's who had a SSN and whose death has been reported to the Social Security Administration are listed in this index. It is public information and is often shared by genealogy database maintainers.
