Edward Conger (1882-1963) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on June 10, 1938 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 585. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 16th, and received commission on June 24th. Conger was succeeded in this position by William Herlands. On October 20, 1954, he assumed senior status, serving in this capacity until his death on August 7, 1963.[1]
