Bhakhar is a small village of 12 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhakhar depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhakhar's pin code is 277209[4], and village code is 09297900. The area of Bhakhar is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area.
Bhakhar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bhakhar is a census village in the district of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 879 and has total administration over 126 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 222 male, 66 female with 269 (93.4%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 204 males and 65 females. 89 males and 11 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 89 male and 48 female agricultural labor. 19 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Reoti (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
