Caesar Rondina (born September 25) is an Italian-American businessman,[1] former firefighter and paramedic, educator, author and a keynote public speaker.[2][3]
Rondina is known for authoring several books that revolve around his personal life experiences and his books aim at educating, empowering, improving and creating awareness among the readers.[4] He is a multi-genre writer, specializes in writing self-help, love stories, thriller, crime series, murder mysteries and non-fictional books.[5][6]
Rondina was born on September 25, in New Haven, Connecticut. He was born to Italian parents Dominic Rondina and Margaret Rondina and grew up in New England. Rondina studied at West Haven High School and went to the University of Bridgeport to study Education and minored in Psychology.
After completing a degree in electronics, Rondina carried a two-way radio business for 17 years. He later sold the business, to pursue his ambition of becoming a career firefighter and paramedic.
In 1990, Rondina joined the nationwide team of commercial ambulance services as a clinical education specialist and was responsible for providing clinical education, training and development. He has an experience of over 30 years, working in the public healthcare system. Rondina has created over 100 PowerPoint presentations on pre-medical educational courses during his career as a paramedic educator.[7][8]
In the early 2000s, he started his journey as a master boat captain, wherein he undertook to educate boaters on learning boat relocations and electronics and operating their vessels. He has an experience of over 22 years in the field and still continues to deliver lessons as a master.[9][10]
Rondina began his career as a writer, author and public speaker in 2001. His writings are influenced by his personal life experiences as a paramedic, career firefighter and educator. Rondina’s first book, The Soul in Our Hearts, was about his professional life as a frontline worker and firefighter. Some of his notable books include, A Woman’s Fear,[11] which is a self-help book highlighting the need for prevention and creating awareness on domestic abuse. In his book, Who Are the Heroes, Rondina outlines different kinds of professions and develops a new perspective in the eyes of readers about each profession.[12]
Rondina is also the author of a blog, The Author’s Pen. Through the blog, Rondina discusses diversified topics relating to business management and self-help and other topics requested by his readers and subscribers. The blog is published on his social media handles and website every Monday at 7:30 pm EST. He is known for publishing several business, self-help and writing tutorials on Udemy.com and is also an active contributor on Quora.com.[13]
Rondina is also the owner of Altech Videos, which is a digital video producing company. The company specializes in developing and creating short videos for creating introductions for speakers, book trailers and adding music and special effects to any project or video clip.[14]
Rondina holds a US Coast Guard Auxiliary teaching certificate. He is also the holder of FCC first-class master electronics technician and educator credentials. Rondina is also a licensed Paramedic and US Coast Guard Master Captain. He holds several other teaching certificates including the AHA Provider & Teaching Certificate and NAEMT Provider & Teaching Certificate.
Rondina currently resides in Florida and is single parent to his children Michael, Kimberly, and Dominic Rondina. He also has 2 grandchildren, Anthony and Samantha Rondina.
Rondina also volunteers with several focussed and victim groups towards the abolishment of domestic violence from the community.
