Madhesa is a small village of 183.3 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madhesa depends on Kodihar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Madhesa's pin code is 229413[4], and village code is 05386200. The area of Madhesa is segregated as 140 hectares irrigated area, 8.43 hectares unirrigated area. the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 270 male, 230 female with 282 (56.4%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 206 males and 76 females. 64 males and 24 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 119 male and 47 female agricultural labor. 218 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kodihar and Allahabad to sell milk solid and make their living.
